Thunar is a new modern file manager, designed from the ground up to be responsive and easy-to-use. Its user interface is clean and intuitive, and is simple by default. Thunar is lightweight with fast start up and folder load times. It features a “breadcrumb” navigation style for easy backtracking. Thunar is also extensible with additional plug-in packages available through the Thunar Extensions Framework and is Freedesktop.org compliant.
